"So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again.
The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older,
Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.
"

Pink Floyd "Time"

A great song!

How many more Capricorns on here.

Another year older last Saturday as well,

As my mate said, he's a week older, 21 plus 48 years experience.

My body and the calender tells me I'm 70 in two weeks time.
Why then does my mind still think I'm 22?

Growing old is compulsory. Growing up is optional.
Emerson, look at Mick Jagger he was born the same year as us, but the cream of the crop for that year were obviously born january and February

What Emmerson said is true. When I was working I thought about what I was going to do after my dinner then I couldnt be bothered.I may look 66 but I dont feel it.
Went for my COPD test today. When I went in October my lung capacity was 44%. Now because I am living a bit healthier and dieting and using my inhaler more my lung capacity today was 65%.For someone my age it should be 80% but I am going in the right direction. Cool Cool

Its only a date - we are all a year older than a year ago - trouble is I think I feel like it and certainly look like it Crying or Very sad

And worse if I make it - I will be into another landmark decade that sounds "old" to me
