Hi Rick, thanks for the interest. Yes, i'm going to purchase a 1970 Morris 1000 4-door early next week. The car is in green and in great condition. Needs cleaning from many bits and bobx laying in the car such as computer remedies.
There's so much junk inside the car that the back seat isn't visisble! The car is in dark green, still has its original paint!! Lovely lack interior if i'm not mistaken about the colour. Original chrome Morris rims with original red painted centre caps. It's a true beauty. Exactly like the one hereunder;
I'll spoil you with some pics if eveything goes as panned and get her |

Hi jipstar,
Always did like Mk 1 Capri's as they were the car to have when I was young.
I remember saving for one around 1976 but even then they were fetching £380 second hand for a '69 model...way too much for me then!
I eventually bought a metallic bronze Ford Consul 3000GT in '78 for £400, oh happy days! |

Interesting bunch of vehicles there. Welcome aboard!
Rick, maybe you should move this to the 'Introduce Your Classic' thread...? _________________ Don't run your fingers over my truck & I won't run my truck over your fingers!

Hey!! Good to see you're from here as well. No, I am not in any club as of today.
I'm from Gozo actually, but come up to Malta to study. Where are you from? |

Some before and after pics of the Capri.....
I guess you have already figured it out that the Capri is my most loved classic A lot of work and time has gone into it. The car still has ipdated her appearance since these photos!
By the way, this is my other car but it's a bit out of topic here so that's why I haven't mentioned it before;

Hey Guys. It has been a while since I posted here. I'm just going to bore you with some pics of my new classic; a 1958 2-door Morris 1000. Great thing about it is that it's super clean (despite it's age) and I drove it to my house 15 miles away with no problems at all!

No they are the rear lights that came out on a recent generation of the Morris's, arounf 1965. Originally, being a 1958 model, mine should be much smaller red rear lights.
Please correct me if I am wrong. |
