There is one in Liverpool, the exact location of which is secret, that is directly connected to the Guinness Brewery by a PLUTO.

A quick Google search has revealed that the Lanchester was parked outside the 'Little Temple Bar' in Marsailles; South of France. This Irish Pub still exists in an alley full of drinking establishments.

I think the way it worked was that the pigeons were not expected to return to it. They would fly messages about the War home to their lofts in Britain. |

Pigeons were released from the front lines back to the mobile loft which were often converted double decker buses. The navy also used them.
They saved a lot of lives and some even got medals.
