| Hi does anyone have a problem with this fantastic forum just lately it seems to have become very slow and jerky i dont have a problem with any other sites best regards david ps hope this is in the right place |

Perhaps your modem needs greasing or advance the timing ? |

Many corporates (including the one I work for) who use IE as the default search engine, will route the inter web through a proxy server, to control and prioritise Internet use (and lock the connection setting) , those with a bit of nouse, install Firefox to circumvent the proxy server. This may be your problem?

| Almost any other browser is preferable to Internet Explorer. I mostly use Opera but also have Firefox, Safari and Chrome installed. |

I use firefox too, much better than internet explorer!!
Its free to download and anyone can do it! |

If you've never compared it with a different browser you wouldn't know how much better they can be. |
