Following on from the ups and downs of classic ownership I really wish I could weld and paint. I could have saved myself a fortune over the years. As for car electrics I just get by.
In the house I can paint doors and skirting boards but as for wallpapering forget it. And I am hopeless at DIY.
What do you wish you could do.

I wish I could weld better, spray paint, plaster, play the piano, dance and speak foreign languages but not necessarily all at the same time.

Travel back in time, there are one or two things I'd do differently given a second chance.

I could do all of these things until a year ago. Then they fitted me with a pesky pacemaker and I'm not allowed to weld, my lungs are playing up and I can't spray and my back has gone so I can't get under the car. Now my ticker is failing so I can do $od-all. I'm just trying to find the energy to flog everything off.

+ another one. I have even had to book Moggy into a local garage just to free a rear brake. I did respray landcrab 3 weeks ago and am still suffering for my sins. Just needs mopping but can't manage to do that at the moment.

I wish I could play golf, tennis, football, darts and snooker and some other sports. Look at the money they are making. There is a player with Manchester City FC earning £300,000 a week. Obscene isnt it.

I wish I wasn't so hopeless with car electrics. Just bought a new loom for the A55 (gulp!) but haven't a clue how to go about fitting it, so it will have to go into a garage, which will mean more expense. It's not roadworthy either, so I'll have to get it trailered over there.

I wish I could get out of my flat! At the moment the lift is off (they have the road up outside and whilst they have restored single phase after an outage, there is no 3 phase and the lift needs that) so I am stuck Sad Sad

I wish I was closer to you guys so I might squeeze in a bit of time to give you a hand. I might also be handy if I could arrange to stop getting older right now; I'm already a bit late by the sound of it!
