Thank you - I have seen them. The Fawn doesn't look as original as I was hoping for (I could be wrong - it's difficult to tell..) and it looks as if they are after a premium for all the buzz words like" shabby chic , retro etc". The other larger one looks to be a Puku - a bit longer that I would have liked, & too far away to go & view.

Hi

Have alook at the owners club website it will give you the correct layouts and styles and has a for sale section.
That fawn on ebay well the listing was not correct as it only sold a couple of weeks ago at kings lynn auction and they had not done anyting to it, there is a dicsussion about it on the cheltenham facebook page as well
Good luck in your search

Thank you - that is really helpful.
It does seem to be a bit of a minefield out there. I'll have look on the Facebook page......
I am quite particular about the interior - I really don't want the kitsch 'vintage' look! So I suspect that to may take me a while to find the right one!

Hi Tamsin
I have a very early (1957?) Sable, but it is a major retimbering job and would require careful transportation.
PM me if you are after a project.

Hi Uncle Alec,

That sounds amazing....
Unfortunately I don't think we're up for a major project.
I was looking for something that would be useable for this summer, that we could update gradually.
Thank you anyway though - it's really helpful having all of these suggestions from people.

Hi Chris,

Thank you - that's an interesting lead.. not bad condition - what did you think of it?
As far as I can tell it's certainly worth a look ....
I do struggle with the whole Ebay process though -especially if it's quite a way to view it, & then there's no guarantee that you won't be pipped to the post at the last minute by another bidder....
