Cool Both the oldest cars I have driven were 1935.
My neighbour had a 35 Austin Ruby .I always remember the registration...VD 5115 it was ..lovely little car.
In 1965 my dad had......wait for it.....a 1935 SS1 Airline saloon.Wish it was still here now it would be worth well into 5 figures. I remember a bit of its history. The first owner was Valerio the ice cream company in Glasgow..then I believe the Army had it during WW2. My dad bought it for £20 Shocked Shocked Shocked in 1964. IT had a Standard 16 engine in it.He sold it to a classic car company in Philadelphia who paid for shipping it out there. Sad innit. Then lo and behold last year at Selkirk rally there was an SS1 convertible like new it was and I spoke to the chap who had it and we were in conversation for ages.I often wonder what happened to that car. I still have photos of it somewhere. It had an old Glasgow registration YS3378. Wish I had it now though. Sad Sad

Does it have to be a car? Or does any vehicle count?

Is this drive or does "drive in" count?
When I had my leather restoration business I got to drive in a 1909 Rolls Royce silver ghost .
It had red leather that was damaged but water, I was invited by Lord Montagu to repair it, he took me for a spin but wouldn't let me drive it

The oldest vehicle that Mike has driven is a 1938 Leyland Cub fire engine, he says that this is probably the easiest thing he driven, apart from the modren cars. He said the hardest part was to remember that you've got a big wheelled escape ladder in the back.

Many years ago a chap I knew owned a couple of Singers, and I had a quick go behind the wheel of his '35 Nine Le Mans, I think that must be the oldest I've driven (and been in).

If it counts I've helped push a 1927 Tilling Stevens bus, a 1928 ADC bus and a 1904 trolleybus.

Can't remember driving anything older than the 1931 Humber 16.9 Snipe I owned, for a short while, in 1958.

1903 Wolseley. A single cylinder one. It was a strange thing to drive with one bang per telegraph pole.I made a new shaft for the water pump 'cos the old one broke up. I seem to recall I was quite proud at being able to do this seeing as Halfords couldn't help.

Steered a 1912 into a shed, but I was being pushed, not sure if that counts?

1952 Ford Anglia. Very Happy

Like Buzzy, I've been behind the wheel of all sorts of "old stuff", but I was being pushed along with 2 MTP (Museum Technicians Power) "engines"!
