I knew no good would come of it. I normally restrict my gardening activities to firing up the mower and giving the lawn a quick scalping, but the other day I elected to help erindoors pull out some bushes. Net result is my back is giving serious jip now, sit down for too long and I can barely get back up again .. GRRRR I should stick to safe pastimes, like fiddling under old cars perched on axle stands Smile

My motto... never buy a house with a garden too big for the wife to manage on her own. Unfortunately! I needed room for a big garage and a bigger garden came with it. But at least I now have a mower to tinker with when the memsahib can't start it.

Hi

A big garden is surely fine, but any space they can't cope with, just cover in sheds. Simple, low maintenance, and useful!

I will try to get a picture of a shed, near me, quite comical. Will have to wait for a nice day as it is on one of my "Sunny Evening cycling routes"!

Cheers

Dave

"Man cannot live by shed alone!" But I love 'em and would certainly give it a try. Smile

Another way to keep the weeds down is to build a pond and make that shed a boat shed...

I went through a stage of making ponds and digging holes, it all came too much when the hole I dug in the garden was very deep. I was obviously younger at the time and smaller, but it was much deeper than my hight.

Many happy hours

Cheers

I'm working on it at this very moment UJ but the laminate floor seems difficult... uneven surface y' know. Toying with the idea of laying some hardboard first with packing to level it.
Just remove the soaked carpet, what a pong. Didn't realize the roofing felt had ripped some weeks ago. Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad

I used some form plywood, the dark brown slightly waterproof stuff they use when casting concrete. Worked a treat under the laminate I had....

My wife is the main gardener at our place. What little bit of gardening I do is just to keep the tracks clear........there`s been more plants added since this picture was taken.
