Sorry to butt in to this lovefest, but to the OP - I would be very surprised if you could find a tradesman who would re-frame a classically-built caravan for less than twice the cost of buying a sound one in the first place.
The last caravan I completely re-framed was a Cheltenham Sable - a much simpler construction - and had someone been paying me, the total bill would have been well over £3000. Then there is the interior to do!

Hi Alec. You can butt in any time old lad. I must agree with you though. Restoring almost anything is rarely cost-effective. How many classic cars do you see advertised for two thirds or less, of their resto cost?

sorry back on track
im rebuilding the kitchen on my little old well 69/70 royale at the moment and then she is in for a good old rolling with something, haven't decided what yet but she will be back to an off white
it's as you say cost i can do all the woodwork but haven't tried painting this will be my first try
