I'd be very wary of that particular one, no photos. Mine cost me £92 which I think was a little dear but it was only a year old. Problem is 2nd hand ones are going to be collect only and I wasn't going to drive too far to get it. I had to get hose and a pressure reducer both of which are pretty cheap. The pressure reducer has a shut off valve meaning you can remove the gun whilst the compressor tank is full of air. It makes a helluva racket for quite a while if you just unscrew the gun. Even with a 50l tank and a lvlp gun I still had to wait for the compressor to catch up a little. All perfectly fine, I'm not doing it for a living.

The only snag is it comes quite high up my nose and I couldn't wear my glasses so I couldn't see what I was doing. I need to sort that. Otherwise light comfortable easy to breathe and I couldn't smell anything so presumably works ok.
You do appreciate this is my entire knowledge of painting cars! Somebody else might know a lot more

that's all I needed, I think I might wait until Machine Mart send me another VAT free invite and get the compressor there, that way at least I know who to throw it back at if somethings not quite right! Probably buy the same gun as you. What about a water trap? Is it needed?

It's a neat little thing looks well made and screws onto the bottom of the gun. I bought it after I put the epoxy on. The compressor has a drain plug underneath (best place really), around a tablespoon of water came out before I sprayed.

I didn't know how to adjust the gun and found a lot of uninformative confusing videos on youtube. This chap http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9u_SlsFwBs explains it well, it is really simple. His gun has the same layout as the one I bought.

that's a very useful video ~ I have learnt something new already! Yes it is for the Honda, but I wouldn't say I am trying to paint it professionally, all I want to do at this stage is give all the bare metal some protection in case it rains when I attempt an Mot test ~ might be ready for one in the next few weeks!
