What ever size of garage you end up with it will soon not be big enough.
We have a triple which will get 4 cars in + a single and 2 extra lockup singles (with parts in) and one or 2 outbuildings.
3 cars still stand outside + odds and ends parts _________________ Rover P2

| Having carefully measured the garage I made an offer on the house which was accepted. We are in a major chuck out / freecycle / ebay / auction mode now. Our buyer's surveyor is coming tomorrow. The house is old (around 1500) and needs some money spent in the next year or so. Just hope the surveyor is sympathetic, bit like taking an old car for an MOT |

I managed to buy two lock ups locally over the last 20 years, they rarely come up for sale but so handy.
I just dream of having a garage attached to the house.
I once did a Range rover engine change in the street and it snowed, sills on a Metro in the rain too, oh to have the luxury of a garage! |

That is precisely why my Morris Traveller has been untouched for four years!
At 70+ the thought of working outside is beginning to pale! |

I am only in my 40s and find it hard some days but once started as long as its not raining, having said that I am getting my classic caravan ready for sale and just repaired the heater drain plug in the pouring rain |

I was wanting a double garage so my thinking was the planning department would not allow a double if I asked, so I decided to ask for a triple expecting to be rejected and offered a double... I like when my plans work
When I applied for planning permission I sent in a plan for a triple garage and was shocked when they came back to me and said yes. Now that it's built I wish I had asked for a 4 car garage as I'm quickly running out of space.
Get as big as you can afford, you can never have too much space _________________ ROVER

| I was in the garage yesterday. Clearance is doing nicely but I was looking at the pile of stuff I have to get into the new one. Even with a partially dismantled car it is amazing how much you end up with. Wish it had a pitched roof. When I was reshelling midgets I had mountains of parts, it looked like easily enough to build three cars |

| Lucky your LA will let you do something like that. Round here if you want to do something simple that no locals object to, the planners turn it down, but if a developer wants to build something hideous that's OK |

Hi 47p2
I thought you did have a 4 car garage, I'm sure i've seen a picture showing one car parked on top of another! _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.
