She runs!!

A friend paid me a visit today and he noticed that the King lead was not far enough into the tower of the coil. The plastic acorn would not screw in far enough so I made up a new lead with push in ends.

As has been suggested I have been over thinking it....

Thanks to everyone here for your input.

I can now enjoy driving Trundles around the neighbourhood again.
