My Dad gave me a valve seat cutter set ...but I have either put it somewhere for safe keeping or someone has "borrowed" it.  |

Overheating won't cause valve seats to drop out of an iron cylinder head. The seat itself will always be hotter than the surrounding metal of the head. |
