My Dad gave me a valve seat cutter set ...but I have either put it somewhere for safe keeping or someone has "borrowed" it. Confused

Overheating won't cause valve seats to drop out of an iron cylinder head. The seat itself will always be hotter than the surrounding metal of the head.
