I've had lunch on several occasions over the past 8 years with the Gilberry's. Meet up with Job Rated at several Rod shows.

Rick and Buzzy, you've certainly got good memories Smile I met you both at Weston Park over two years ago. Nowdays I tend to go to events in Worcestershire & Herefordshire more, so I may have seen one or two of you without realising it.

I thought it'd be interesting to bump this one back up again, to see who has met who since this topic was last visited? I forgot to add john-saab to the original post, oops Smile

I met Roger-hatchy at Herne Bay last year (at least I think it was last year.) There are not many members from Kent.

And a few others, local, Kelsall(I think), Edwardstone and maybe a few other places.

This is where I wonder if nic names are such a good idea. As BrianM said, we've met, in various parts of Europe, and I've met Alec a few times, but may well have spoken to loads of others and not known it.
Mind you, there may be others who've met me and want to keep quiet about it!

Thinking about it, there exists an opportunity for a get-together in the Vale of Pewsey, near Devizes, Wiltshire, next July. Evening meet at a pub. Anyone up for it? Given a bit of encouragement in this thread, I may start a dedicated thread.

Sounds a great idea Alec. We're not due to return from our 2013 Eurojaunt until July, but if we're in the country, we'll come along.

Bumped into MikeG for the first time, at the local VSCC meet yesterday, so that's another name I should add to my earlier list(s).
