The car is a 1928-1930 Talbot 14/45 with standard coupe bodywork; the body normally has a square box on the back:

Thanks Mike, another example of the origin of the americanisation "Trunk", we used to strap a tin trunk on the carrier at the back of the Austin Ten/Four. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Some information about 152 squadron
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No._152_Squadron_RAF
Then again, the right hand plate reads TAF 34 which stands for tactical Airforce of which No.34 squadron was part. Take your pick!
AS to the make of car; your guess is as good as mine but it seems to be RHD.
I was thinking 1939 Frazer Nash ...then perhaps not.
The location may be Belgium; famed for white brick houses? |

At a guess, possibly a Delage D8? {Going by te vents in the bonnet sides, and the shape of the chrome[shiny?] side emblem?
By that time, it might well be on Delahaye underpinnings? _________________ Dellow Mk2, 1951 built, reg 1952.

Delage D8....look at those bonnet side louvres? Aren't they the same?
Plus, the side trim? Isn't that the same design as the RAF photo's shiny trim? _________________ Dellow Mk2, 1951 built, reg 1952.

Compare the front wing treatment where it meets the running board; unique to Alfa.
The doors hung from the B post are the same with wind deflectors.
The rear window is divided just the same.
Compare the shape of the chrome strip as it widens towards the rear.
The traficators are also located in the rear quarter panel.
No two Alfas were quite the same in this period.
They were very expensive, bespoke cars. |

Different manufacturers often used the same body builder who may use the same features on different makes. The Alfa 6C in my book shows a car with louvres on the bonnet sides not the little "doors". _________________ 1938 Morris 8 Ser II Coupe Utility (Pickup)
