I saw a convoy of modern-ish super-ish cars this morning - Porsche, TVR, Audi R8, some others - heading in the direction of the morning meeting at the Old Piggery, but I didn't think there was a meeting on today. I had other things to do anyway, so wasn't going. _________________ 1976 Vauxhall HP Firenza, 1976 Vauxhall Sportshatch (x2), 1986 Audi coupe quattro, 2000 Audi TT |

Nothing at the Old Piggery going on that I know of, my youthful assistant was out on his cycle and spotted them also.

We saw a lovely Mk1 Ford Escort Mexico yesterday, newly restored by the looks of it. Also a Morris 1000 convertible at the local farm shop. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

I was at Morrison's supermarket in Winsford (you can tell I'm just winning at life ....) when I saw a Lada Samara parked up.
When was the last time you saw one of those? _________________ "Once bread becomes toast, it can never go back!" |

My Brother in Law bought one. It was cheap enough. |

On my way home from work yesterday afternoon I passed a black mid 50's Standard 8. Looked quite nice in the sunshine and tbh we don't actually see many around here. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

hi, yes it was me, took mother out for tea & a slice of cake near glastonbury tor.
trouble is we get waved at by so many people in modern cars we have no clue who they are as they are out of context, if in an old car then we probably work it out who they are, which car were you in?
hope you are well and see you at warag if not before.
thanks for the mention. |
