Snapped this a a local show. It's a Folding Scooter made by the C&E Manufacturing Co of Memphis.

It is a nicely engineered piece of kit dating from around the fifties. But the footrests and exhaust have so little clearance from the ground that even the slightest deviation from the vertical, it seems, could result in tears before bedtime.

Are there outrigger wheels by the foot pegs. Shocked I hope it does not go faster than walking pace. Just walk it will be more healthy.

I had one of these..... made an expansion chamber for it. That gave me more ground clearance..... looked cool an sounded good too.

I was told they were made to go into private aircraft as ground transport

Lot of fun to ride
