Hi all,
My dad and I have been offered some classics over the weekend. Basically the elderly owner is having a clear out and we aren't sure if the cars are worth having. We have no space or interest in keeping them or restoring them ourselves so if anyone can let me know if they feel they are worth anything i'd be grateful. We are considering breaking them for spares if we get them if its more viable.
First up is a Vauxhall PC Cresta. All i know about it is that its been off the road since 1989 but has been run in the garage occasionally since then. Interior is good but i'm told these arent worth much?
Second is a late Triumph Spitfire. The lower half is pretty rusty according to reports so may be only good for breaking. Again worth?
Finally, I don't need info on this but thought i'd show you. The owner of the cars runs a local mains dealer, that used to be the Morris/BL dealership and this Morris minor was rolled into a wall by thw owner when it was only a few months old, it was returned to the dealership for a reshell that never happened and its sat here ever since (at least the early 70's). I've been told its not done many miles (a matter of hundreds) and as a result the engine and interior are like new, interesting find huh?!
Thanks for any info _________________ 2013 Dodge Durango R/T Hemi

The PC Cresta is probably worth £600-£800.
The Spitfire probably £500 or so.
That Morris is fascinating. It could be a wonderful project for someone! |
