A few of us are trying to identify this engine (for a bit of fun more than anything else!!) so far the suggestions have been

1/ 2.5 Litre "Standard" straight 6 Petrol

2/ meadows edc6

Does any one know for certain what the engine is and what it would have been fitted in?

(I have no connection to the seller or no intention of buying the Engine it is a bit of fun only!)

Theres an Austin K9 on Ebay at the momment and looking at the engine it looks differant to the one here, on the engine here the spark plugs go in at an angle to the side of the head and the head bolts are out of view under the rocker cover, on the K9 on Ebay the plugs go in at a more shallow angle and the head bolts are outside the rocker cover. Here's the link
