We had a Bluebird caravan the same as this at Chapel St Leonards nr Skegness in the mid sixties. Very Happy
I saw one at an antique and collectors fair a week ago, and the owner invited us in to look around. Rolling Eyes
It took me straight back to my childhood viewing the inside of it. Very Happy

In the sixties the site owners did not like you keeping your old caravan a long time on their site and would offer you peanuts for yours, there was some agreement that you could not sell it to someone else, and keep the pitch.

We also had a touring Bluebird caravan from around 1963,has anyone any photo`s of one.?

Regards
Gresham.

Looks like my Ebay Watch list Laughing I usually scan through each day looking for anything interesting and old just to see how much they are going for...and if any are cheap enough you never know, a sneaky bid may get in there Laughing
