hi, just a test post to make sure account is working and to say hi to everyone.
i am 46 and live in carnoustie in scotland and having spent all my adult years tinkering with bikes i decided to buy an A40 devon pickup project, still tinkering with bikes though Very Happy
i built a triumph T120 custom last year and love it to bits.

cheers mick

Sold all my old bits on ebay a few weeks back unfortunately, there wasn't anything tasty mind, just old shoes and linings amongst the general clutter Smile

In all I've had a 49 Devon saloon, a 51 pickup, and a 53 pickup. All of them had different brake shoes. Late pickups have slightly wider shoes and rear drums (they also had different 17" wheels compared to earlier pickups). Some had 8 rivet holes for linings, others 10, so make sure you know exactly which shoes you need Smile
