Hi
Went to the naming cemony of Michael Olivers new Aveling yesterday, the aveling tractor that was restored by the late Fred Dibnah, and it was aptly named "Fred".
It was nice to see it in steam, all finished off that Fred never got the chance to do unfortunately. It was great to see it allong side Betsy and the living Wagon, and the Landrover. Freds Children were all in attendance, and it made a great afternoon out, meeting some great friends, that have not been seen all winter!
Here are some pictures:-
The Bentley is also one of Michael Olivers too, not sure if everyone knows of Michael Oliver, but he is owner of some companies including Olivers Valves of Knutsford:- http://www.valves.co.uk/director_profile_details3_ovl.php
Cheers

| Fred's workshops, are open to the public. I don't know how often, but a couple of friends are going on a bus trip there, next month. The bus company is Andrews of Tideswell, and their advertisement sheet says the old machinery will be running on steam power. |
