Had my renewal for agreed value on my classics today from Footman James - premium's gone up by over £200 from £148.50 last year to £350-odd! Will be looking around. Sad
Anyone with any similar experiences with FJ?

My classic insurance came in a couple of days ago, same as last year although my modern cars have went up substantially

Thanks for replies. Rang Peter James last night and quote was e-mailed today - nearly £200 cheaper - result!!
Will probably try Lancaster as well.
I gave FJ opportunity to requote before looking elsewhere (been with them probably 20+ yrs) - first they said I had a "good deal last year - it was a mistake", to which I replied I don't think so as last year was similar price to previous years. He then went away to check, came back and said the scheme provider they used last year no longer does it and they could not do it any cheaper.

I just had a quote from Footman James and it was way too high, Peter James was similar, but Heritage came in with a really good price at about 50% of the others .. agreed value too Smile
