Model: Morris Minor 1000
Year: 1968
Mileage: 45k assume 145k
Tax: Aug 11
MOT: May 11
Location: Peterlee County Durham
Price: £1500
Additional Information:
Selling my car now to pay for my new arrival.
see my thread in resto section for pics of the car: http://www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=38520
Car is pretty much the same will be servicing it this week.
MOT ends 20 May tax till August
sill pics http://gallery.myff.org/gallery/932568/CIMG2053.JPG both sills are the same clean and good.
I have been using this car as an everyday runner and covered about 3000 miles this past year.
It has broken down 3 times for the following reasons
1. Dead battery
2. Loose connection on regulator
3. HT lead came off (I hadn't put it back on correctl) Other than that I have had trouble free motoring.
1275 marina engine with hs4 carb this was an un-used recon unit that the previous user had fitted circa 25k so if the speedo is the same then this engine has only done about 20k
front anti roll bar
has traveller springs on at the moment but will be replacing with new 5 leaf springs later this week.
paintwork is generally tidy all over with only a couple of blebs
Engine runs great no smoke knocks or bangs
Gear box good changes well up and down
Bad bits
pass front wing has some minor bubbling.
This is not a concourse by any means though I imagine it could be if that was the desire. this is a working car used for shopping and a short commute to work as well as drives out to car shows etc.
Viewing recommended as opinions differ.
Looking for £1500
A week here then it fleabay |

Sad to see you selling Rob, are you going to get another Minor?
Just a thought, it might help your sale if you get a new MOT on it. |

your right re MOT will probably look at renewing that if I get time, but with a trip to Austraila imminent my schedule is very tight atm. will be sad to see the Morris go but I just dont have the garage space for 2 cars. |
