As it says in the title - we need a police-car bell for a 30's/40's car...

Ebay have a police collectable section keep your eye on that I have seen them from time to time, it might be worth seeing if a fire engine bell is the same size its another avenue to check!

A friend of mine has an ex met wolsley with its bell still on and working if you do get one and want any details of the mountings or switch lay out I could get photos if you want

Winkworth made the bells for the emergency services and are usually listed as such.

Hello everyone,

Thanks so much for the replies - I am chasing an avenue from a contact in the Ambulance service who thinks they may have an old Winkworth bell laying around somewhere - Fingers Crossed!!!
