Having just registered here I thought I'd better pop my head above the parapet and do a quick intro.
I'm Steve, wrong side of 50, live in East Anglia and have a fairly eclectic taste in vehicles.
More as time goes on |

Welcome to the forum Steve. You're not alone being the wrong side of 50. I don't think I'll elaborate any further on that.
You must fill us in on your eclectic taste. Is this a taste for vehicles you would like to own or have you already amassed some over the years?

Hi Steve - welcome to the Forum. I'm in Norfolk so possibly not too far from you.
Nothing wrong with eclectic tastes Plenty of classic vehicle events of all sorts in East Anglia over the coming months so hope you can get to some of them.
If you spot a black TR4A with three bears in the back that will almost certainly be me - come and say hello ! _________________ One thorn of experience is worth a whole wilderness of warning |

Look out for a red and black 1940s Rover that's my main car at the moment. Tell use more about your interest in classics please Steve. _________________ If the world didn't suck we'd all fall off |

Thanks for the welcome
Well, I have a tendency to lean toward pre war British. I had a run some twenty years ago of Series Morris cars including a '36 series 2 10/4, '37 10/4, '37 eight and a '37 Series 2 14/6 - not all at the same time. I also had a '34 Standard 10 special for a while too. At the moment I have a '38 Series 3 MORRIS 12/4 although it has to be said I'm hankering after something a bit earlier.
I've had a few others but will save the more eclectic for another day. |

Welcome Steve, nice collection of pre-war cars you've had there. I'm in Southend but am quite often in Stalham, Norfolk as well. |

Hi and welcome. My father has a 1933/4 Morris Cowley Four and was on the committee for the Morris Register too, Ken Smith? He regularly attends rallies in Essex and Suffolk, so keep an eye out for him if you don't know him already.
Would be nice to see pics of your cars if you get a chance.

Apologies for my tardiness responding but I have been looking for the CD's on which I have stored some of my past car and vehicle photos and scans of photos. Trouble is the disks are not where they are supposed to be and everyone here swears they have not seen let alone moved them - grrrrr
The best I can do at the moment are some random photos that I discovered on other discs of some of vehicles that I have owned (still have one or two)...
'37 Morris 10/4 Series II
'43 Dodge ambulance
'75 Shadow 1
'38 Morris 12/4 Series III (purchased not long ago but may not keep).
'34 Standard 10 Special
'37 Morris 14/6 Series II
'43 Willys MB
1990 Ford Crown Victoria police car. Came direct from a NC police dept still complete with original livery and equipment, imported by me some ten years ago. |
