Its that time of year again insurance renewal here
In our current climate of cuts and cuts and more cuts & everyone is looking for the best cover at the cheapest price.
Currently with Carole Nash which has come in nearly 50% dearer
My other two Jags are with Footman James but there quote was double what Im paying plus a £20 admin charge to add my car to the current policy which isnt a lot of money but these admin charges really **** me off.
Any one here recommend a good keenly priced insurer.
Or a good trade insurance cover as currently Im looking to have to an additional policy for my business use _________________ Car-Nut

Much the same for myself when I went to re-insure my vintage car. In the end I went with HAGERTY who were able to offer the same quality cover for about the same cost as previous insurer before the big increase.

I've been with Aon, (now part of Footman James or vice versa) for years, but since the Footman James involvement the prices have gone up and the service down. So having rung around I plumped for :

and I saved over £100 for a better cover, and a bonus is that when I spoke to them on the telephone they seemed to understand what I required from my policy. This was insuring my Mk1 Escort and Rover P6b V8 on an agreed value policy with unlimited mileage.
The nearest I could get to them was Adrian Flux, but they wanted 2 separate policies and were nearly £30 more in cost. |

Like most products for purchase, shop around and find Companies keen to take on new business at a discounted price. You have to make this an annual task to find best value. |
