My vintage car was resprayed back in 1963 and as the car has seen little use this paint is in very nice condition. Except the top of the bonnet where it seems to have a slightly milky bloom and some odd stains as well. These faults can be seen when you look at the area from certain angles or catches the light at certain angles. I have tried to polish it out and whilst some paint can be seen on my polish cloth afterwards the problem still remains. Its by no means a disaster but to me very annoying. Solution suggestions please.
If I end up having to respray the bonnet how can I match the paint up Sad
Thanks, as always your input is appreciated.

If you do have to re-spray, take chip of paint the paint supplier and they will mix to match the old paint colourrather than too a code. These days they will also put the paint in a rattle can, its about £8 per can, handy to keep for future touch up's, without the fuss of setting a gun up.
