I had a wonderful weekend driving the Aston Martin Heritage Trust’s 1934 Ulster. A nice leisurely drive down on Saturday afternoon then early on Sunday morning I displayed her briefly on the circuit at the Goodwood Breakfast Club where the theme was "Pre-66". By mid-morning I drove up to Goodwood House ready for the cars to be arranged on the lawns in front of the House for display. She behaved perfectly and I could easily get drawn into pre-war Aston motoring except that my wife kept telling me "no you cannot have one!" Being fortunate with the weather I was able to experience pre-war motoring at its best especially on the Sussex Downs where she needed 3rd or even 2nd on the “Ups”!
Here are a few photos together with one of a sister 1934 1.5 Litre MkII Aston Martin which was also on track at the Breakfast Club.
