My Ford Anglia has been stolen from a rented council garage in Wokingham, Berkshire and I am desperate to get it back.
It is a 1966 Purbeck grey with white roof and red interior Anglia Deluxe - reg OJH 480D, chassis no. BB22FY20641, approx mileage 37,000.
Please keep a good lookout. I have had this car for over 25 years so it means a lot to me.
If you hear or see anything then please call me on 07905 219051 or PM me if you prefer or, if you would rather remain anonymous, you can speak to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Thanks everyone,

Sandra

That will be abroad by now sorry to say, went to a show on the 14th got talking to a nice chap had a 7cwt 105e van not yet finished on the inside, but he said when he came in on the sat night with it on the back of his pick-up behind him was our old enemies so he waited for a while then took it back home and came back the next day [show day], these people are nothing but scum we exterminate rat's and should do the same to them,i was talking to a chap about the same age as me on this subject and he said we are our own worst enemies all we do is talk, no truer word has been spoken, can you imagine any white English people taken up arm's like the Libyans have done, never in a million years.

Problem is to many car owners and others. Claim that they love their cars. But they dont have alarms or have them stored properly.

A friend of mine has 3 vintage cars. All of them has GPS tracking. Costs him about 50 pounds pr month.

Can be done more less expensively:

Sadly, it's too late to fit GPS tracking to my Anglia (but with the benefit of hindsight ...).

If it has been shipped abroad, I wonder which country it would go to and which port it would go from ... ? I would travel anywhere to find it.

If it hasn't gone abroad, I am hoping it hasn't gone on the rallying circuit - is there any identity checking for rally cars?

Have the riots and anti-gang feeling stirred up the population enough to make the national papers take on publicity of individual stolen classic cars? I think that is the only way to make the general public keep a lookout and question the appearance of beautiful classics apparently from nowhere.

Still hoping for a miracle,
Sandra
