Thanks you have a very keen eye the numbers say its 1939 but the rear half has later body panels with the small wings behind the rear wheel's our club said that maybe it was a 1939 cowl and at some point had a 1951 rear half added ??? |

yep this has the steering lock etc all the 1939 stuff Mr bill ballard ( close friend ) said its a 1939 cowl and a later rear body and that it might have been hit from behind at some point and they replaced the rear half with a later model all the numbers say its a 1939 even bill ballards book on small fords says the model number is 1939 and all the numbers are on the firewall not a tag like later models |

Great collection--- we love the look of your green van.
I was able to see the radiator for the first time in one of the pictures.
mines missing
I'd sure like to see the way the floor and ribs mount and how the body is held up.
Our '48 Canadian left hand drive e83w has a blue "Ford"oval with Thames badge on the radiator grill
do the Australia models have that or Fordson?
I hope you have time to show some more pictures
much thanks

Today is a sad day my green fordson died of a heart attack and now needs a new heart her motor will not turn over at all but i have another motor that will go in but it needs a rebuild too for 15 months i have had nothing but problem after problem with the motor in the green van so i think it was time for it to die or i was going to sell the van |
