Hello Buzzy Bee , Hilldodger and other old bicycle lovers
This year I have been to Netly Marsh and Beaulieu in Beaulieu I have bought a Ordinary a Singer Apollo from Tim Gunn .
And new spokes from John Malseed .
In the last weeks I have been busy painting it and build the wheel up with the new spokes and made a new Leather saddle .
Last wekend I made my first ride .
It was my first time at the autojumble and I will come back next year looking for a Safety and a hublamp.
Greetings from Gerrit Kan |

Hi
Welcome, the hub lamps are worth as much as the bikes if not more on occasions, and if they do break, they have a habbit of ralling down inside the wheel which in turn fouls the spokes sending you over the front, so make sure it is sound before using it in anger, can't think of anything worse, huting yourself, posibly breaking/damaging your bike and breaking the lamp! hehehe
I have a battery lamp front and back, quick to remove but easy to see, and cheap to replace.
I would love to see some pics too!
Cheers
