As we have cleaned out the two Hemleys we unearthed recently, we have found that a lot of the original as new accessories are still with the vans and in a cupboard in the large caravan we also found a hoard of Caravan magazines dating from the late 1930’s to the late 1950’s. an amazing find full of info on caravans that we have never heard of or seen. Here is a few photo’s of some of what we found. Other stuff includes old gas mantles, which are loose tie on type, (I’ll get back to thread I did ages ago about that.), a box of old Bronco toilet paper, crockery, a “new” glass bottle of 1940’s washing up liquid and egg cups and lots of small bits.

The Elsan toilet, also still wrapped up we found the toilet tent to go with this, still looking like it was a week old.

The Caravan magazines after a brush off.

Water can.

some of the cooking items, a bit tarnished, but some still shining like new.

I think in the circumstances and because I was the first to praise you in your fantastic discovery that you donate these items to me for my vintage caravan. Very Happy

One person cannot surely have the satisfaction of not only finding two vintage caravans,........but a whole bunch of period collectables as well. Sad

My next begging letter will be to the Euro lottery winners........ Very Happy
