Hi Guys,
I'm not a collector or restorers, but in my younger days I have worked on the machanics and bodywork of my cars which included a Mark 1 Ford Cortina, Mark 1 1300 Gt Ford Escort and a Mark 1 RS2000.
I,ve just found some old manuals of cars my late father owned, his first car being a Standard 10, I have some good memories of holidaying with these cars, anyway I thought they would be of interest to members.
Phil

Thanks, my Dad had a Wolseley 1800, I remember it well. I helped him de-coke it in the kitchen. The head that is, not the car! _________________ 1936 Morris 8 Series 1

My first car was my father's Wolseley 18/85 Mark 2 which I acquired in August 1976. The registration number was JFF 900H and he had bought it new in August 1969.
The colour was Blue Royale and it was one of the first Series 2 models with better ventilation and bigger front and rear seats.
I must have a photo of it somewhere and I will certainly have a look for it this week.

No - I only joined here in March this year but when I saw a reference to a Wolseley 1800 - 18/85 - tonight it caught my attention right away. You may remember I started a topic on the Wolseley 18/22 series some months ago which you contributed to.
The thread is on p5 of this section - about half way down the page. _________________ Starting Handle Expert

Ah right; it just appeared that you were replying to my question about the 2200. _________________ Keef - Sheerness Kent UK

Where have the photographs gone? Only one is opening for me and that does not appear to have anything to do with cars. _________________ Keep Torqueing,
