The honeycomb radiator was a very pretty looking beast, now long gone because later on very plain-looking devices were used, and they were so plain that they had to be hidden behind a grille. However for the Vintagent, here is a film explaining how a Sydney operator builds them-

Actually while a very interesting film that is not a traditional honeycomb radiator which is assembled from a series of tubes of hexagonal or round section with expanded ends. The rad in the film is the later I think so called film type and much cheaper to make. The appearance can be similar to a proper vintage honeycomb however.
