Hello Fellow Grinders and Wire Wheel Operatives.

For many years I used the traditional safety goggles,you know the type,the one`s that made you look like Joe 90.
I now use safety glasses. The problem I encounter is having them steam up when also wearing a face mask,(dust mask).
Any tips on keeping the lenses clear. Question

Perhaps RainX? apparently works well even on some plastics, although I've never dared use it on my windscreen.

Rain X would help, but from my motorcycling days, you will find that
it will eventually build up an irritating film on the plastic.
(on glass it's no probs)

Cut a potato in half and rub the wet bit on the inside of the glasses. Let it dry and get to work.

For many years I've used Bob Heath anti-fog visor spray;

And when I run out - the potato juice trick!

Any particular variety. Question
Living near the Fens,would a bit of sugar beet do the job. Very Happy

I bet it gets complicated when you have to wear reading glasses,safety glasses,dust mask and ear defenders. Confused

Yes, it does, when I have to have my glasses on and welding goggles for oxy welding. The problem is the dust and dirt on the lenses . Too many !!!

Depends on time of year. Have you noticed that the price of Chips goes up each autumn, yet never returns to previous price? Shocked

Bananas are now $1.99 a kilo. in Sydney. Can anybody tell me how they can transport them from Queensland, thousands of kms. away, and still make a profit. I bought some this morning, good tucker. One year ago they were about $12 per kilo.Way out of my budget.
