Not one of mine Shocked !!



Saw this on an MOT forum! .....apperenly the owner of this Saxo fitted a new wheel cylinder, but snapped the brake pipe in the process...no problem he cut the end of a pipe off from a scrapped car, fitted it to the cylinder and joined it to the existing pipe with a plastic tube ....Genius!

When the tester pumped the brakes the pipe swelled up like a balloon.!

And they want to do away with the MOT for older vehicles,they must be mad if people do things like this.
My MOT inspector would advise safety issues with a car even if they are not covered by the test.

Bizarre! the jubilee clips probably cost about the same as a brake pipe would from a small factor who makes them up!!
