With the Spitfire mainly on the road, mainly being reliable (In the past 45 miles I've only been at the side on the road once :cheer: ), I'm focusing on the details - having a roof that doesn't leak, having lights that light, having oil that remains in the engine, having oil pressure! (Turns out I've got loads and a hyperactive oil pressure switch!). One of the details is the passenger front floor. It's... well, let the pictures do the talking!

So in other words I don't have a massive amount of floor left Sad

Biggest question is, does anyone have a front passenger side floor that they don't need? I will of course pay for it, but I don't need a full floor and don't need a half floor (Driver's side and the passenger rear (Oo eer!) are fine).

A-post seems fine:

And the door gaps are alright:

So, can anyone help?

Thanks, Aaron

PS: Merry Christmas!

Aaron try Dave @ Spitfire Graveyard he should be able to find something for you at reasonable cost.

Hi

You could allways go down the route of some tin, and repair them, bit of a challenge shaping it, but posible.

Cheers

I think I probably will do, just wondering if anyone had a quarter floor pan.

Those repair panels are expensive! And I'd be left with half a floor pan I didn't need Confused

Thanks for the replies, Aaron

Make sure you see the panels before you buy, some years ago I purchased some floor repair panels for a Mk111 Spitfire.

When the postman delivered them I was very disappointed I could have formed better ones at home.
The worst thing was they were cut short.

Taught me a lesson. Possibly things have moved on since then.

All the best, Kels.

Interesting replies on this thread: http://club.triumph.org.uk/cgi-bin/forum10/Blah.pl/Blah.pl?m-1325537684/

I'm aware of a certain brand having poor fit! Smile
