Does anyone knows wat battery my friend has to use in his Austin Princess IV?

Hi Jonathan,

If that's a Farina type then I think it's a Lucas BT9A.

That translates into a square ended type with completely sunken cell connectors. Has 9 plates per cell and is 12 volt. Plate type T.

Thanks Allot for the intresting link!
It's not the Farina type, its nearly the same as the Austin 135 sheerline etc..
But I found it in the manual, many thanks!

I've got away with a type 64 @ 12 volt in my sheerline I'm assuming you still have twin battery boxes on your car
