In the 80's,I lived only a couple of k's away from my then workplace.I therefore fitted a piece of cardboard between the grille and radiator,to ensure the engine warmed up a bit on such a short drive.I think i had a mk3 Cortina wagon at that time.Later,I actually sewed up a nice heavy vinyl cover,complete with button domes to open the center of the cover on longer trips. |

Carpet on the Landy! at times! hehe
I also have been known to be the item to block air flow into the radiator on a very old passenger carrying vehicle. |
