Spotted the car at Wollaton Mike but you must have been walkabout when I called. Looks very nice.
Mine is running nicely now on the A K distributor so enjoying some short runs

I have eventually bowed to the inevitable, and had a new petrol tank made; the original turned out to be completely rotten, and had been since the 1960s rebuild - the whole of the bottom was fibreglass!
So this last weekend saw us up at the Beamish Northern Steam Fair for four days of motoring round the museum roads, and the Saxon performed better than ever, now at last pulling strongly in top gear and hinting at some real performance!
We had three days of really sunny weather:
... followed by a really wet Sunday:
It was a very grubbly little car when it got home!
