Looks a lovely caravan you were lucky to get such a nice example. Now you need a nice Rover 2000 P6 to pull it.

A up Nich, already planning getting new springs fitted but i keep getting differing views as regards the oil cooler as some people say it cant be done on this gearbox. Would appreciate any views on this from any one but please dont be too technical as i'm a total lemonhead when it comes to mechanics!!!!!!! Any idea how much this job would cost?

It's a Borg Warner DG box, might be worth googling. From what I've read the main problem is they are designed to be air cooled. It was fitted to Aston Martin DB5's so may be worth asking some specialists. Sorry can't help more than that unless you want to go for a manual conversion

I also own a Castleton.
It's a Roberta of 1985 vintage. I love it and it does me fine at the steam rallies I go to.
