Attended a lovely event at an old RAF airfield near us in our big Hillman. So much military stuff on show, the standard and rarity of some of the tracks was great.
We also like the British wartime motorcycles, wouldn't mind one myself. There was a nice Morris 10/12 staff car too. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Went to Weymouth for the day today. Spotted a nice early 30s Austin Seven Box saloon and on our way home a lovely burgundy colours E-Type. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

A Riley Elf (or Wolseley Hornet) this morning, and a few classic trucks this afternoon presumably returning from the Smallwood event. _________________ 1976 Vauxhall HP Firenza, 1976 Vauxhall Sportshatch (x2), 1986 Audi coupe quattro, 2000 Audi TT |

Busiest day of the year as far as spotting vehicles was concerned. We were on a 100 mile tour of North Lincolnshire so there was plenty of opportunity.
En route to the start at Louth we saw a magnificent Daimler Cabriolet, possibly a Barker bodied Special Sports model, followed by a Morris Minor saloon, Ford Prefect 100E and something very large and American from the 1950s.
Our own event included 34 other cars ranging from a '53 MG TD to a 2019 Mustang.
After the finish, driving south on the A15, heading in the opposite direction we saw around 15 to 20 '50s and '60s American cars and pickups, more than likely from the Kustom Kulture Blast at the Lincolnshire Showground and all looking immaculate - not a single 'rat look' among them.
BTW - if you were out yesterday, was it also 'Bug Sunday' where you were? I had to clean the windscreen twice it was so bad! _________________ David

That Peachy coloured Edsel must be a rare beast in the UK?
I have only ever seen one in the 'flesh' before and that was in Havana.
Also loved the "Black smoke matters" lol, hope dear Greta doesn't drop in...she'd go all apoplectic.. _________________ Daimler Fifteen 1934

hi
been to several show localy where we have had an edsel or 2, i think the pink one i have seen before can't be too many in the country, mind you cars come from far and wide for our show, we had over 400 vehicles this year, breaking 2019's record, by far one of the biggest in the s/west.
we do get a lot of rare cars attend. |

Passed a nice Pre-war Lanchester on my way to work this morning, I have seen it before so it must be fairly local to me. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
