Some of you may know that the Aston Manor Transport Museum had to leave its old home at the end of last year, and is moving to a new home at the old Jack Allen dustcart works (now occupied by Volant PVS) in Aldridge just north of Walsall.

The museum isn't open yet, but there will be a special open day next Sunday, where you will be able to see the new site and some of the exhibits,and a free (donations to the museum very welcome of course )bus service. Details are here:

Preparations are going well. I spent a pleasant afternoon travelling around North Birmingham on this bus, which was checking out the routes for Sunday:
