We have not been to Newark Autojumble for some time,it was great to walk around and soak up the atmosphere.
This event on a nice dry day gets the classic vehicles by the hoards.
I had a good day`s buying, and met a lot of friendly shallholders and classic vehicle enthusiasts.
It is fine phoning suppliers for your classic car parts or using Ebay to
purchase items, but you just cannot beat meeting the traders face to face and having a banter before giving them your hard earned cash.
I met a lot of traders I have contact with over the phone, but having items shown to you in the flesh beats a very long phone conversation.
Role on the next one.!!!

Gresham any idea whether that frogeye was a proper one or one of the kits supplied to fit running gear from minis?!
I remember such a kit some time ago from seeing it advertised on magazines and that photo prompted me to remember them!!
The fact its got the front indicators and side repeaters from a mid 80's onwards mini made me think about it actually.

I like the Velox too Smile Years since I last went to Newark, one of the last times we brought home a steel Mk3 Spitfire bonnet on the roof of my blue Amazon, ropes through all the windows and forward to the bonnet catch. It stayed on Smile
