Thought there might be an odd person on here who might be interested to know of a small BUT perfectly formed show that OLLR (Old Leafsprung Land Rovers) hosts at the National coal mining museum http://www.ncm.org.uk/near Wakefield
each year ...
Small but packed with nice old Landrovers and a VERY friendly vibe to boot,the "show" is held to raise funds towards to upkeep and running of a very important part of our industrial heritage .
As well as wandering around some old landrovers you (and the kids) can enjoy a FREE trip underground to see how coal was once won in one of our fast disappearing industries .
There is a small charge to exhibit your leaf sprung Landrover which goes to the above charity However entrance as a pedestrian is free as is admission to the NCM .
