Hello we are about to repaint our 1956 pick up.
The metal strip that goes around roof opening is coroded is this trim
available?At the moment their is a solid roof i presume this was a sunroof
closed over?Sorry to be vague but this is all new to me and we haven't
located a manual yet.

Hi,

Originally the pickup would have had rubber seal around the edge of the opening. Beneath it is a gulley that runs around the aperture, into which the seal presses.

This is available from Small ford spares I think, it was when I did mine anyway...
