I wasn't able to take part in this event but (for the first time in weeks) it was a bright dry morning so I went up to Cromer to watch the cars start out on their run to Yarmouth. This event was organised by Centre 81 which is a Gt Yarmouth based charity that helps adults with physical and sensory disabilities. The run was part of their 30th birthday celebrations and it produced an interesting range of vehicles :

It looked like a fantastic day out.
I wish we could have something like this over on the Cambridgeshire/Norfolk border.
If we had taken part in this event we would have had to drive 80 miles to Cromer (an early start),The rally route, then 120 back from Great Yarmouth.
Another event yesterday started in South Cambridgeshire but ended in Suffolk nr Southwold...again so far to travel back after the event.
We may live nr the centre of the universe when it comes to classic cars, steam engines and all things bygone....
or so the magazines will give you that impression (they are all published here) but we live in an oasis when it comes to events like this.
