Hi
Two stories I have heard from Stockport, they may be apochryphal.
A warden ticketed a motor scooter laying in the gutter while it's rider was being treated by ambulance people.
A bus was ticketed for overhanging the double yellows after the end of a marked bus stop _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

I wouldn't be surprised! Some towns get these reputations, I did hear a few years ago that anyone who suffers a breakdown in Ross on Wye is in trouble, apparently the wardens were always ready to pounce - mind you, I've never had trouble finding a legit (and free) parking space in Ross, admittedly I don't pass that way often but I reckon they'd be desperate for their commission |
