I spotted these the other day and was shocked to see that the £40k mini has no tax or test.

I saw a Stag for sale a couple of years ago; it had never been registered, 600 miles on the clock, it was driven about 20 miles a year round an estate on a dry day,... it was perfect....but what do you do with it? if you clock up a few miles in it, start performing running repairs, it will be a good original vehicle, but loses the "as new" status, and probably a chunk of value!
The only place for them is a museum ?

Ref. the Mini Van: If you look at the "see other items" from the seller they have two auctions for it, the one for "buy it now" plus a normal one where they have had 65 bids so far up to 23,450 pounds. I see thay also have a Mk1 Ford Transit with two auctions one for "buy it now" of 15,000 and a normal one where they have 15 bids and are up to 8,101.
Interesting what they will finally go for.

Now there is a mk2 marina coupe on for £3650 along with the Ital Estate at £2695...No takers..No wonder..Not that I am decrying the marinas but they are not worth anything near those figures. _________________ The Clan Chieftain |
